GOLF

There are several nearby HOA communities that have fabulous golf courses that you can play as a guest, if invited, by a resident with a golf membership:

Halifax Plantation, Grand Haven, The Conservatory, Plantation Bay, and Hammock Dunes.

Otherwise, there are five public golf courses:

Palm Harbor Golf Club, 20 Palm Harbor DR, Palm Coast, (386) 986-4653

The Pine Lakes Golf Club, 400 Pine Lakes PKWY, Palm Coast,  (386) 445-0852

Cypress Knoll Golf and Country Club, 53 Easthampton BLVD, Palm Coast, (386) 437-5807

Grand Reserve Golf Club, 400 Grand Reserve DR, Bunnell, (386) 313-2966
The Grand Reserve is in the HOA community of Grand Reserve, but the golf course is public, and is not supported by that community.

Ocean Palm Golf Club, a 9-hole course next to the beach in Flagler Beach, (386) 439-2477

In any of these golf courses, you can either join the club or pay-to-play.

Pine Lakes, Cypress Knoll and the defunct Matanzaz golf courses were once owned by one company, The Grande Club. Palm Harbor golf course, which was private, is now owned by the city of Palm Coast to keep it from closing. There is a public restaurant there, Looper’s Par & Grill. Pine Lakes and Cypress Knoll are both independently owned. The Pine Lakes Golf Club has a restaurant and a fabulous bar.  It also updates its golf carts about twice per year. The Pine Lakes course is rated as also the most fun to play. Cypress Knoll and Grand Reserve have snacks and finger food. The Ocean Palm course often has to be refurbished after storms and can be closed for months after a severe storm.
